The HMP Progressive Dinner is returning this spring, with a new twist, instead of homes, we will be visiting local businesses and churches. HMP neighbors are invited to come to this adults-only event on Saturday, April 30, starting at 6 pm at @properties (230 E 16th street, next to the Foundry) for beverages and appetizers, continuing to Joy of All Who Sorrow for soup, salad, and entrees, and ending at the Harrison Center for the Arts main gallery for dessert. Festivities will wrap up at 10 pm. The cost of the event is $10, or free for HMP Association members (and the annual dues happen to be $10, visit the HMP Association page to update your membership).
As always, beer and wine is provided and guests are asked bring food to one of the courses (appetizer, soup, salad, side dish, entree or dessert). Bring your item between 5:30 and 6 pm to the venue. Please either bring your item in a disposable container, or put your name on the container, and plan to take it with you as you leave that course/venue. Please RSVP here by signing up for a dish.
Guests are encouraged (but not required) to embrace the Derby theme of the day and dress in their fanciest outfits and Derby hats. Guests can also sign up to bring a delicious Derby themed dish. Check here for some inspiration 17 Delicious Kentucky Derby Food Ideas (thespruceeats.com)
